The season is in full swing here at the chilli farm where we’ve been working non-stop to produce some of the best quality chilli and vegetable plants for the new season.  Here’s a quick overview of the varieties available right now:

Chillies:  Right now we have five varieites of chilli plants ready for sale.  Hungarian Hot Wax, Super Chilli F1, Red Habanero, Pimento di Padron, and Apache.

Tomatoes:  We’ve got Alicante, Gardeners Delight, and Red Robin.  Red Robin is a cherry bush variety…designed for a pot or container.

Veggies:  Dwarf French beans, Courgettes, peas, various herbs, strawberries, broad beans, and sweet corn.

We’re growing more than 50 varieties of chillies this season.  We propagate “successionally” which means that over the course of the next several weeks we’ll be re-potting thousands more plugs and many new varieities will be coming ready for sale so keep any eye out here and we’ll post updates periodically.  We’re open Friday, Saturday or Sunday.  If you’d like to visit at other times please ring.  Also take a look at our schedule to see if we’re doing a plant fair or farmers market close to you.
