I was just closing the doors to the polytunnels and greenhouses and I snapped a picture of the Jalapeno’s and Anaheim’s in Polytunnel 3. We actually picked our first order of Jalapeno’s yesterday. We also picked Serenade and Cherry Bomb (green).
I’ve also been doing a little taste testing and the Anaheims are certainly carrying some heat. I intentionally tried a small Serenade thinking that it was immature but was surprised that it actually was VERY hot. Dan tried the first Dorset Naga of the season today…he actually ate the whole thing. I’ll tell you what, that guy can take the heat!!! Joanna video’d it so watch this space…we may actually have it up here soon.
Oh, and he’s made a special edition of Dan’s Hot Sauce. The infamous super-hot Naga/Chipotle sauce was beefed up with the addition of a couple dozen mesquite-smoked Dorset Naga’s. It’s called “Spring Surprise”.
